How the Tablets Work

SpaGuard Rapid-Dissolve pH Decreaser Tabs are made from compressed sodium bisulfate, a proven spa chemical used to safely lower pH levels in spa water.

When added to circulating spa water, the tablets dissolve through controlled erosion, delivering the correct amount of pH reducer quickly and evenly.

Dosage Guide

• 1 tab per 250 gallons lowers pH approximately 0.1 – 0.2 units

• 2 tabs per 250 gallons (1000 liters) may be used depending on water test results

Note: Lowering pH will also reduce total alkalinity, so alkalinity may need periodic adjustment.

Directions for Use

1. Turn on spa circulation or jets.

2. Drop the recommended number of tabs into the spa water or filter compartment.

3. Allow tablets to dissolve completely.

4. Test water and repeat as needed.

Important: Avoid leaving undissolved product on spa surfaces or in the footwell. If necessary, brush away any residue.
