VARIABLE OPTICS™ LIGHT THERAPY
Clearlight Red Light treatment is the only red light treatment machine that uses Variable Optics™. Most other light treatment systems have only one optical output at 30 degrees. This reduces the quantity of light absorbed by the human body.
The light receptors in our skin absorb red and near-infrared light. With a single optic, there is just one acceptance angle. With our Variable Optics technology, we employ a combination of 7 and 60 degree optics to provide variable cross acceptance angles for light waves. This permits light to penetrate more efficiently into our cells, providing greater benefit.
With Variable Optics technology, you may optimize the effects of light treatment in each session. This technology is exclusively accessible with Clearlight Red Light Therapy.

The Narrow Optics light ranges from 7-30 degrees, providing focused and deeper penetration with an irradiance of 75-110 mw/cm2 at a range of 4-12 inches.

The Wide Optics light stretches from 40 to 60 degrees, providing full-body coverage for total health and fitness. The irradiance ranges from 55-85 mw/cm2 at 4-12″.
HOW RED LIGHT AND NEAR INFRARED THERAPY WORKS
We've been studying, producing, and providing light treatment in our saunas for more than a decade. Clearlight Red Light Therapy employs strong medical-grade LEDs to provide the optimum wavelengths to the body while avoiding excessive heat. Our technically better arrays include 70 red light LEDs in the 650 nm range and 70 near infrared LEDs in the 850 nm range.
